Part of my ceramic practice has included teaching. As a post graduate student I was teaching at RMIT in the ceramic dept and since then have done several artist in residencies and taught as a volunteer, all with the focus on drawing. I am (as of 2022) Artist in Residence with a Depth Coaching organization where I teach a programme called Drawing to See. This introduces the clients to focus on the process of drawing rather than the product. For 6 weeks we run through different techniques and experiments, all the time becoming self aware of the relationship between our eyes and hands, our posture and our pencil.
In 2019 I was Artist in Residence at Canberra Potters were I taught workshops and classes and in 2017 I was teaching drawing on a volunteer basis, with Fitzroy Learning Centre
