This breakfast set comes from a series influenced by traditional patterns of porcelain table ware. My motifs in the circular spaces are small vignettes of thoughts around listening - to the sounds around us, the birds, the wind and the rain...and looking - either through a lens or our eyes or with our bodies. The small plate sitting at the bottom of the set simply encourages the rest of your day..to fly...so your plans and dreams for the day, take flight. Its a whimsical set for the mornings you wake up and the day is not looking positive. I hope this set can turn the morning mood around
