I thought I’d show you a little teapot, that i’m getting ready for a January show at Narek Galleries. Don’t be fooled though, little teapots are alot of work!!!! The title of this particular teapot is…”which way home?” and sometimes, as we sit with our cup of tea, you do have time to think as you pour. You position your cup, you swish the tea around in the pot, you pour carefully into your cup and there is that small amount of time, where you’ve paused in the middle of a sentence or you’ve paused to listen to someone start their sentence and then you replace the teapot on the table and lift your cup to your mouth. How did i get to this place? What is it that got me to this conversation?
